Every time a new technology emerges, two basic trends occur: techno-optimists and the techno-pessimists. The former overflow with enthusiasm and award the new invention a kind of panacea with respect to its application to a specific sector or to the whole of reality.
The latter are dramatically and hastily disturbed by the innovations, in many cases uncomfortable by the changes in learning and routines that they cause. From the earliest times, this dilemma challenge every generation.
Today, this question is verified especially in the field of bioethics and in the multiplication of information and communication technologies.
