Trial for Báez Sosa: Thomsen’s crying and the rugby players’ apologies “for everything caused”

At the end of the arguments and the debate concluded, the Federal Oral Court 1 of Dolores gave the floor to the eight rugby players accused of the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa.

I am very sorry for what happened, I am very sorry for everything that happened. I never intended to kill anyone or participate in any murder at all. I want to say thank you for this moment, for listening to me.”

Cyrus Pertossi : “I am very sorry for everything that happened. Please apologize to the family for having been in a fight in which a boy our age had, it is very ugly. It is very ugly what they accuse us of too.”

I’m so sorry, I wish I could turn back time. We will always abide by what you decide.”

Enzo Comelli: “I want to apologize to Fernando’s family, also to my family, and to all the people affected by this aberrational event,” he said. “A person passed away who, like us, had our whole lives ahead of us. My sincere apologies to everyone involved, who went through this ordeal.”
